Default The attack of the cat!

My cat is a silver something....who knows what mix, but really pretty. She has always been a bit on the psycho side when my daughter was first raising her. She had her moments where she would just attack my daughter without provocation. Since my daughter went into the military, we have had her. We have had her now for nearly a year and she is attached to me and always wants to be with me.

She has started extreme face rubbing on me and at times my husband. She climbs on my desk most nights and won't let me do my stuff on the computer. I usually stop and love on her and hold her a bit and she rubs and rubs. Then she gets back on my desk and grabs my head and rubs and keeps pulling on my head to get is sideways and rubs and rubs. It is really getting irritating.

Well, now, she has started to growl and bite me on my head. I push her away and she will go for my arms. She NEVER backs down. I have hissed, growled, pushed away, spayed water, pushed off desk and most times I shut her out of the room. This worse behavior has been going on for a week now. Nothing has changed in my routine, or my husband's. The kids are not at home. I don't know what gets into her. She could just be laying on the floor and the next moment attacks my legs. She is scaring me a bit, I hate to say, because I can't get her to stop without seperating her from me.

I don't know what to do.

Hello and welcome to the forum! We'll try to help, but could use some more information.

How old is she? Is she spayed?

Please get her to the vet for a complete check up.
A change of behavour is always a redflag, this really does sound like she is trying to tell you something!
Please do let us know what you find out!!
