The Next Door Neighbor's Vegetable Garden My neighbors and I get along pretty well. We just had one rough little time last spring. The time had come for gardening. My neighbor put in all her seeds, and her soil was all pushed into neat little furrows and hills. The following morning, she found one of the rows disturbed and a little pile of what was obviously cat leavings not quite covered. The same happened the next morning. Since I have the only cats in that area it was obviously one of mine. She finally took some cheesecloth and placed it over the rows the way she sometimes did in the past for birds. This seemed to solve the problem. Once her vegetables came up there were no more mini litter boxes found in the garden. |
