In this groundbreaking book, Dr. Nicholas Dodman does for feline psychology what he did for canines in his widely acclaimed The Dog Who Loved Too Much.I LOVE CATS!I LOVE CATS!Here he reveals the fascinating, and often frustrating, mind of one of our most popular--and certainly most independent--animal companions, and shows how we can coexist peacefully with even the stubbornest of cats.

Customer Review: Good Resource for Understanding Feline Issues
While this book won't necessarily give you all the solutions for your cats' behavior problems, it will give you a much better understanding of why they might be behaving the way they are and what the possibilities and/or alternatives are. The book is presented mostly as a series of anecdotes or cases which illustrate various points. However, at times it feels like something is missing in the discussion of all possible issues in favor of staying "on the case." The author is not shy about recommending drugs to ease temporary adjustment problems, points out that in many cases the cat's "problem" can be the situation it is placed in, and comes very close to suggesting at times that some people should perhaps not have cats at all. While the book did not provide a quick and easy solution to my cats' adjustment problems, it provided a lot of insight and has been handed around to many other cat owners.
Customer Review: Best of its kind
This is an older book, but the best written on the subject. If you are having problems with your cat, this book could easily save your cat's life! It covers all kinds of problems, like cats that don't get along, cats that "spray", etc., and the reasons for them, and how to stop them. I have used it for several years on several problems that seemed "impossible", and it worked every time.
