Customer Review: A waste of money, even as a gift
If I'd actually paid for it I'd be angry, but I'm just disappointed. This is a superficial, overstated, cliche-laden catalog of historical factoids about women, interspersed with the author's convoluted attempts to draw strong spiritual parallels between cats and women. It's probably meant to invoke the feminist spirit of the 70's when every other woman had a cat named "Bast" or "Cleo" and when women were all claiming (surprise! surprise!) that they had been witches in past lives and burned at the stake. There's nothing new here, nothing particularly sprirtual, and the "artwork" is just all very similar murky photo collages of (surprise again!) women and cats. If you're thinking of buying this for yourself, don't. If you're thinking of buying it as a gift for someone you like, don't. Take him/her out for brunch instead and over mimosas share pictures of your pets and have a lively discussion of what you think about women. It will be a much more enjoyable hour for the money.
