Default A possible snowshoe?

Sooo, I made a friend recently. He sleeps on cars around my apartment complex and doesn't have a home. A guy near me leaves a little food out for him, so I know he's been around a while. He's sorta shy -- probably because he's a stray -- but after weeks of me hanging around him we bonded. He began trusting me more, to the point to where he'd follow me anywhere I went when we'd see each other. Eventually he started coming over to my place and now it seems like he’s made himself at home with me.

I have to say, he’s probably the smartest cat I’ve ever had – and I grew up with a lot. I’ve taught him commands like “sit” “down” (even when he puts 2 paws up on a coffee table, he’ll back off when he hears down) “up” “NO” (he completely stops in his tracks to no)…. I’ve even taught him to HEEL! He’ll walk right next to me like a dog and periodically look up at me, and I'll reach down & pet him in approval. He’s also probably the neediest cat I’ve had. He gets really lonely; hates being left alone, even if I just go to the other room (and I live in a 1 bedroom apt, lol). He’s got a soft, smooth, calm voice. Incredibly affectionate & sweet, hasn’t ever tried to scratch or bite for any reason.

Based on his personality and appearance, he appears almost to be the spitting image of a Snowshoe, with only one exception – the incomplete white V on his face. His doesn’t go all the way up and down on his nose. But the Siamese colors with 4 white paws, crazy blue eyes, rounded body and short fur, etc. all match up.

I know how rare that breed is so no need to harp on me for that, I’m really hesitant to label him as one. But I’m amazed by the similarities especially in temperament and personality, so I wanna believe he’s a relative or mix of one, if not one himself. I’m curious what others think about him so I’m attaching some photos with this description. His name’s Balthazar, but goes by Thaz. enjoy!
