I don't think I've been so frustrated... I have a 6 month old kitten and I cannot for the life of me figure out what breed he is.
He is a white cat with an orange striped tail (the white and orange actually layer themselves), orange ears, a small orange spot on each of his back paws, an orange striped forehead, a very light orange stripe on his back extending from the back of his neck to the front of his hind legs and very very light orange stripes on his front legs. His front paws are off-white, but not any certain color. He also has very bright blues eyes, that flash red. His fur is semi-long, poofy and silky smooth. He has a pink mouth, nose, ears and paws. His tail is slightly shorter than his body length and the fur on his stomach is soft, but isn't long enough to get matted/tangled. He is well proportioned and seems to be fairly big for his age.
He acts like a dog, which from what I've read is along the lines of a Turkish Van/Maine Coon, but I can't find any photos of either species that look like him. He doesn't really have a fear of water, I've seen him drink out of the toilet bowl with a full water bowl. He's a really loving cat and will tear anything up if it means he's getting my attention.
His mom was a long-haired calico, not sure about the father. The only other cat I remember from the litter was another white kitten that was all white and long-haired, with bright blue eyes, no stripes. His brother from a litter before him is gray and has slightly darker gray stripes like him.
Is he a 'mut' or some kind of breed I'm just not familiar with? ANY help would be appreciated. I can get pictures of him if it would help, like I said I havnt seen any photos of a cat that resembles what he looks like anywhere online so I'm not sure what he would be defined as. Thanks in advance. |
