Default I had asked how to tell the breed of a cat.?

I'm asking this because it seems that I have a very tempermental cat. He was a stray until about six months ago. I rescued him and he is sometimes affectionate. Usually he is affectionate one minute and then he's going after one of the other cats that are here. Then within seconds he's back to being mellow again. I was thinking it had something to do with what he's mixed with. He was about 6 to 9 months old when I got him, and he's been neutered since then. What else could cause this and what can I do so all my cats are happy and there's not so much fighting. I should also add that the one cat he seems to target the most is my older male. He's about 10 years old now.

Well first offthe breed of cat has NOTHING to do with his temperament. I know this may sound strange but hear me outhe is a dominant cat. meaning he likes to take control and become "pack leader." YOU have to be the leader, and let him know that...
