Yes it might be good for her at first they might not get on but this is normal after a while they will settle down and they will have each other to keep them company! Good Luck!
Cats tend to be solitary but you may be able to bring in another provided your first cat does not object. It may feel that its territory is being invaded & fight with the new cat. Remember cats can be viscious when they want to be. They may be all cute & fluffy but they have sharp teeth & claws.
Companionship for a cat is a great thing. The best companion for your cat, which is indoor, is an Orange and white tabby cat. I've had one, each of my family members have had one. 9 out of 10 tabby cats love to stay indoors. They're not really into the whole outdoors. You can find the perfect cat though, on petfinder.org. They have some adorable cats on that site and then you can definately find one that fits your lifestyle. Good luck!
Any cat will be suitable. It will take time for the new kitty to get on with the older one. You need to start of by putting them in separate rooms, so they can smell each other from under the door, after a few days let them mingle. If fur flies separate them again for a day or two. They will moan at each other until they work out who is the chief cat, then things will settle.
definately ragdolls, as long as there's a little bit of garden or a balcony for them. they are so laid back and gorgeous, and they're really good with children too as they've got hairy paws so are very soft and cuddly.
a domestic moggy from the nearest resuce centre is your best bet. breed doesn't really matter it's very individual but a resuce cat may have never been outside so fitting into living in a flat will be easy. outdoor cats will always pine to get out. hope you find one!
