Currently my cat lives in my room but eventually i want him outside but dont want him run over or running away.
Is it cruel to make an enclosure for cats?
If so, how do i make one and how big should it be?
the ones on catworld are great!
some of those people have turned their backyards upside down for a cat though, i cant do that as i dont have alot of space and also have a dog to consider.
Whats the smallest enclosure that wouldnt be considered cruel?
Do these people ever let their cats outside the enclosure?
Enclosures are great! They need to be safe and away from harm and catching diseases from other animals. It is big bad world out there. My kittys ONLY go out in the yard. I have a fence cap so they can not get out and no other critters can get in. I only let them out when I am home I will not leave them out when I am not at home.
edited to add pic of yard and cap http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ndsomeboys.jpg
Well, it is defintly not cruel at all. My suggestion would be to have him remain an inside cat, but for a few hours a day as a treat, let him outside in a small area. The cat will love it.
