Question Introducing cats

I have a small situation that I would like some advice on so here goes:About 5 months ago someone dumped a young cat off at my house. For about 2 months I thought the cat was a boy...until I found out she was pregnant. I found out when she was about 5 wks. along, but I thought she was due then she was so big. Since my house wasn't set up for newborns at the time I sent her to a friend's house that often takes in pregnant cats. Not long after she left a young (definetly)tom showed up. We thought he was feral and so we had him fixed through a local TNR program. When he came back he had a weird reaction to the surgery and we had to keep him inside overnight. Turns out he was an ex house cat who has excellent manners. Anyways, my mom fell in love with him and he now lives inside. My question is how do we introduce him to the mama cat and one of her babies when they come home?

Default Introducing cats

Try keeping them in sepret rooms for a few days and when you think the time is right, let them be in the same room for atleast 30 minutes a day. They should soon warm up to each other with this method. (Sorry if I spelled a few words wrong, i'm in a rush today ^^')

Also be sure to have him tested for Felv/FIV before letting him have access to your current housecats.
