Default It's OK for cats to eat spiders right?

I killed one last night & Phantom ate it. Just a good source of protein right?

Depending on the spider- is it poisonious? Basically, and animal won't eat what will kill them. My cats always used to eat bugs, including spiders.

Well, it's not likely to hurt Phantom, but your cat IS weird.

I would think unless it was some kind of crazy poisonous spider, then yes it's fine. Even people injest a certain amount of spiders as well in a lifetime. No harm in it.

I don't think it's harmful, my dog eats them every now and then. I mean if the spiders are Black Widows or something than probably not. I would just keep an eye on him for any weird signs but I think it'll be harmless.
