Fletcher95 is on a distinguished road
Default Sad day...

hello everyone. I'm a newbie so bear with me. Today I had to put my friend of 13 years to rest. It's been pretty tough as you can understand. I'm a guy and apparently am not supposed to have a cat much less morn the loss of one, so I've played it down as not that big of a deal. But it is. I really miss him already. My question is what to do for my other cat (2 yrs old) that misses him to. She has been looking around the house calling for him. The calling is fine, but it breaks my heart. Is it a "give it some time" situation? I will get her a friend eventually, but can't yet....too much. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'll end by saying Fletcher was my good friend and I'll miss him alot

Very sorry to hear of your loss. I'm a guy, and it hurts unbearably when I lose one of mine. The little one will eventually get over the loss of Fletcher, you just need to give her a lot attention and love until then. It shouldn't be to long. At least you have each other. You should definetly get another as soon as you are both ready.
