Default chicken gizzards

i give my babies cooked chicken gizzards from kfc... i get a full order and half it for two cats and feed it for a week as a treat.. i will give them a piece a day and put rest in ziploc bag in fridge and heat as they eat for the week by the time week is up the gizzards are all used up so they not in fridge over a week

that is good for cats and kitties they love them as a treat ..I tend to cook everything like that for my cats as I dont like to feed Raw ..xxx

I wouldn't think that KFC would be very good for cats. There is a lot of salt and grease and who knows what. I'd advise not to give that treat more than once a month, if that.

My cat loves chicken gizzards too. But I only feed her that once in a while. Chicken gizzards are muscle meat. There should be organ meat in regular cat food.

Chicken gizzards are great for helping keep kitties teeth clean. They really have to knaw on them to eat them scraping the teeth. It also helps prevent cystitis. Read on: The Frenzied Feline . I'd skip the whole KFC thing though. Can we say YUK! Just give them a few raw ones or if raw isn't your thing, boil them lightly and then feed. You go girl! You're on the right track...
