Unhappy Fat cat

I need some advice. I have two cats that I adopted from the humane society a few years ago and they are wonderful but one of them has a weight problem. I had put him on a diet awhile back, but then he got a UTI and so I had to put him on a urininary maint diet and he put back on the weight that he had taken off. I am afraid that he will end up diabetic and arthritic and I've been through that before with a cat that I had for 17 years. Does anyone know of a cat food that will maintain urinary health and help him to lose weight at the same time? As if that isn't bad enough I have to feed my other cat a different food because they say that if a cat hasn't had an uti then the food can cause them to be predisposed to it. Any advice?:
