No... size has nothing to do with it. Cats are carnivores and their food contains different ingredients than dog food.

NO Cat food can damage a dogs liver and kidneys It is too hard for a dog to excrete. You should feed the dog dog food that is specially formulated for small dogs because just because your dog is small it is still a dog.

No. Cats and dogs have different nutrient requirements. Cat food is much richer than dog food. Dogs can eat some cat food, but it is to fatty to be a staple, kind of like potato chips for dogs.Same as cats should not be fed dog food because dog food doesn't have certain amino acids that cats need that dogs produce on their own. If cats do not get these amino acids, they will go blind.

Absolutely not. As a matter of fact cat food can make your little chi very sick. If you are having a hard time getting her to eat, go to pet smart and buy a tube of Enervite it is a daily vitamin supplement meant to increase the appetite. It is meant only as a temporary solution and you should investigate further why your chi isnt eating anything else.

why not my 2 chia chias eat my cat food all the time altough the vet sayes it does'nt have all the basic nutrients for the dogs but they love I do keep up the cat food so they don't eat it, and they have to eat there own food which is beniful.

Cat food is not ok for dogs at all no matter what their size it. Cat food contains too much protein and can damage the liver and kidneys in your dogs food. Try feeding your chihuahua a food for small breed dogs. The kibble is smaller for their little mouths.
