I have given him wet food and he doesn't eat it. I feed him Royal Canin.

Horrible food. Look at the ingredients. Corn? Wheat? Soy? Your cat is a carnivore. A strict obligate carnivore. He needs a diet high in protein and fat and moisture, from MEAT, with little to no carbs, not a dry corn nugget with 30% or more in carbs.

Any cat can be transitioned to a wet diet. Just might take a little effort on your part is all.
