Default Does anybody know if cat is a nutitious food source?

rofl. Cats seem very full of protein and carbohydrates. Plus they seem to be loaded with iron and zinc. rofl

gosh that is a really disturbing question! adequate nutrition is available in abundance without having to resort to eating a domesticated pet. nutritionalyy speaking fish or beef liver would be a far better option or the humble hen or duck egg.

I'm thinking that they wouldn't be worth the trouble - the amount of meat you would be able to get off them after skinning & de-boning would be negligable at best. And I suspect they could be a little "gamey" in flavour.

I don't see how this is a disgusting question. If you are willing to eat a pig, a cow or a chicken, how it eating a cat any different? People just think domesticated animals are cuter so eating them is 'wrong.' I'm sure they taste as good as any other meat would and offer as much nutrition, although you might not get as much off of them.(no, I'm not endorsing the eating of cats...I'm just making a point)
