No, they are collected by a body man who cremates them in pit.

I think they are cremated...but I'm sure that there is some "after marketing" in cities with a big supply of strays.

No, dogs and cats are sent out for cremation. Owners sometimes request their ashes be returned, others do not. They are not used for food.

only chickens could be called chicken meal, but road kill animals have been used for dog and cat food. it's best to only buy feed that specifies what exactly the ingredients are. if it says meat byproducts, a general term, then you don't know what you are getting, since any animal can be called meat.it depends on state regulations if it's legal or not.

let me put this idea to rest before it gets out of control,...............there are no by products of cats or dogs, used in pet food, at least not in the united states, the products that are used the most are chicken , beef ,and pork, you really should have researched this before putting it on the internet, some young person may have read this and totally freaked out, when pets or animals are euthenized they go to different places, some get buried in pet graves, some go to the landfill, and some go to a place reserved for animals that did not have a home or residence, please be more careful about what you ask, or how you ask it ... thanks
