Cats can eat thinly sliced deli meats, although sometimes they don't like it. Also try tuna or salmon.... I'd stay away from the vegatables. The best way to go would probably be to stick to cat food, but regular food is okay.... occasionally. Milk is good too, cats love it, but don;t give them to much, because it is bad for their digestive systems.

They will eat all sorts of strange things, but try to keep it sane. Starches are alright if not overdone (I know one that likes pasta and donuts). Anything protein is just fine. They'll usually leave what they don't like, but if you go for anything exotic (especially garlic, onions) check it out first. I don't know if they can handle that. They probably won't appreciate spices, either. Cats aren't good garbage disposals unless you're doing Atkins. I had a cat that ate beef stew--but left all the peas lying there, licked clean. Another one ate a dish of buttered string beans. Yet another ate macaroni salad, but it had sliced green olives in it. She liked the olives, but not the pimentoes. She left them on the plate. One of them would eat potato chips on occasion. They don't need these things, we do this to amuse ourselves. Things like string beans and asparagus may be alright, they like things buttered, a few starchy things, maybe some beans. For the most part, feed them cat food unless you research their dietary needs and are prepared to accomodate them. They'll eat any kind of animal flesh, including bugs.

it sounds weird but my cat will eat carrots, green beans, milk, and any kind of juice. (the juice is like when you add water to like tomato sauce.) =)

Cats are strange critters with strange tastes. Mine eats cake, vegetables and pasta, all in small amounts. It's important to make sure the cat gets mostly cat food. There are many essential vitamins(E, A, B-12) minerals (selenium, manganes) and other important nutirents added to cat food to insure proper health.
