Default Does anyone know which dry cat food is being recalled?

I've recently heard that, yesterday, the same ingredient has been linked to some DRY cat food as the contaminated wet dog food and that some cats are seriously sick / dying...just like the dogs!? But I can't find out what kind of food (name brands) they are referring to. Does anyone know?

I don't know which brands if any, but the website is menufoods.com/recall, they'll have the info.

dog and cat food manufactured between December 3, 2006 and March 6, 2007. The recall is limited to "cuts and gravy" style pet food in cans and pouches manufactured at two of the Fund's United States facilities. These products are both manufactured and sold under private-label and are contract-manufactured for some national brands”If you would like to find out more here is the website info: http://www.menufoods.com/recall/index.ht...the New York State Agriculture Commissioner and Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine announced that scientists at the New York State Food Laboratory identified Aminopterin as a toxin present in recalled pet food samples This chemical is used to make plastics and also found in rat poison. The infected matirial came from wheat gluten provided by manufactures some in China. There is a list of the recalled products on the web site. If you suspect that your pet was fed this product call 1-866-895-2708 for more information.I could provide more information but this would be a breach of contract since i am involved in the aftermath of this situation. Sorry I can not be more specific and no I do not work for Menu.Hope this helps
