Cat food is high in protein and it tastes good to them. Fish flavor is more costly than the others.

Natural Balance® Sweet Potato & Fish Formula is a proven formula for dogs with allergies based on our unique single source protein and single source carbohydrate blend. Read some Testimonials! Some dogs may be highly sensitive to commonly used proteins, carbohydrates and food additives in their diet. Allergic reactions can lead to irritable bowel, upset stomach, and a number of skin problems. Natural Balance® has created Sweet Potato & Fish formula for dogs with these food allergies. Our Sweet Potato & Fish formula combines fresh salmon, a single source of animal protein that most dogs have not been exposed to, and fresh sweet potatoes, a single source of carbohydrate not commonly found in dog foods, along with effective natural ingredients to help rebuild the dog's immune system.

Yeah... my dog loves cat food, and my cat loves dog food. My cat is super fat from eating the dog food.

they do make fish flavored dog food, but Kibbles and Bits doesn't have a line of it.You actually have to spend more than $5 on a bag of dog food that is quality.Your dog is probably eating the cat food becuase cat food is by nature higher in protein. STOP FEEDING YOUR DOG THE CHEAPEST FOOD AROUND AND MAYBE YOU FIND THAT THE DOG HAS NO INTEREST IN THE CATS FOOD ANYMORE!!!!

They like to eat cat food because it has a higher fat content. They naturally want to eat it because it is more fattening, the same reason why some dogs eat cat poop from the litter box, because of the high fat content.

the pieces in cat food tend to be smaller than dog food and they are easier to eat. plus they know they arent suppose to so they are going to. i also think it has something to do with the smell good luck.
