Default cat with IBS

Hello,

I have a cat with IBS. She eats z/d from Hill's since a few years. But she still suffers from diarhoa and vomiting. We went to a specialist (internist) and she adviced to try d/d Hill's. I would really like to know what your experieces are with this. Does any one know of alternative options with good results. Every advice is welcome.
(I hope I didn't make to many wrinig mistakes, I am Dutch)

Thanks,
Wendy

Hi Wendy, welcome!

I never had a kit with this problem but my older cat, Domino was very fat.
So, the vet decided to treat him with Hill's feline c/d & it worked, he lost
5-6 Kgs. I think it is a good product, at least for obesity. Give a try.

Hope to see pics of yours. What's her name?

Bye for now,

No, he doesn't take any medication. He just took a week of stomorgyl, but it only made his symptoms worse.
He isn't fat at all z/d is hypoallergenic food and so is d/d but from different meat. But I would also like to try alternative medines like vitamins,... if someone might have any ideas?
Beside slight IBS he is very healthy

Yes, the vet said this was an option. But I do not find this an option. Because he is totally healthy and happy, only now and then diarrhoa(how do I write this in English?) without reason and he only vomits when he eats to much. His food has to be carefully dosed. So I am not prepared to put him on medication. I would rather find a diet he does good on.
His name is Vladimir, 14 years (but active like a kitten)
I am from Mechelen in Belgium
And thanks for the compliment, I think he his one of the most beautiful cats on earth
