Exclamation Spot-on flea meds...

I recently read an article in The Wall Street Journal about pet owners claiming certain spot-on flea meds making their pets sick. One small dog got horrible skin burns after its' owner used a produt called bio-spot. I have been using Frontline on my brood but notice that they seem to experience disconmfort when I apply it. Flor especially, who is always the drama queen anyway but I can't help but wonder if I am somehow harming my kids???? Anyone else out there have problems?

Only ever had issues with one, and that was a skin rash that was due to an allergic reaction, beyond that I've never had issues with any liquid flea treatments I've used. The good old flea powder however I always found useless.

We use Frontline Plus on our kitties, we've only used it once so far (only had them a month now) but no reactions/skin rashes here. I'll have to keep an eye on them, now that I've seen this post!

I use Stronghold on my girls which is similar to Frontline, but have never noticed any adverse reactions, they barely notice when I apply it

Hi, i use Frontline spot-on you can get this for dogs and cats, they come in different types depending on your pets weight and size. I use a website called Pet Supplies | Frontline Spot on | Hills prescription diet | Royal Canin | Pet Health | Dog Supplies
