Default Sorry to hear that...

My female cat had a time where she was doing that to herself. She licked/pulled all of the fur off of her belly last year out of nowhere, with no changes in this household. It looked like she had been shaved.

I took her to the vet, and was told that she was probably just stressed out, though she has a very 'neurotic' kind of personality to begin with, so it was'nt surprising that nothing that we knew of had caused her sudden stress. The vet said that as long as she didnt develop any kind of skin irritation, the lack of fur wouldnt effect her health, and gave her a shot (cant remember what it was though, sorry). A couple months later she just stopped doing it and her fur has grown back. The whole ordeal is still mysterious to us.

I hope Chonje gets better soon. He was probably stressed because of his teeth bothering him, though, and now it's a nervous habit.
