Unhappy Worried about my kitty after taking Comfortis

My little kitten Vega is 12-weeks old and went to the vet earlier today for his second round of vaccinations. He was also given Comfortis for flea treatment. Within about half an hour he threw it up and tremored a little. Since then he has been lethargic and weak and when I pick him up he cries out and meows in a very weak and agitated sigh. Fortunately he has been eating his meals but he has not been asking for them like he usually does and rather I provide it to him before he meows for it. I will call the vet in the morning once again but I read online of various people who gave their cats Comfortis and I have seen many side effects and bad effects including even deaths. I wanted to see if other people had a similar experience or advice? Thanks and hope all is well.

It's good your kitten is eating, hopefully by now you have had him back to the vet. I would have called the after hours emergency, myself. Hope he is feeling better now.

I read online of the possible side effects of the feline leukemia vaccination and it might be due to that or a combination of the two (he did throw up the pill). I have talked to my vet and she has given me suggestions but has told me that I don't need to bring him in yet. He is feeling better today but still weak. At least he is eating. Thanks for the response.
