Default My cat's vision

My cat started running into walls and furniture about a month ago. I took him to the vet and she gave some pills for his thyroid and blood pressure. It seemed like he got a bit better but he is back to being unable to see. Can any one who has had similar experience give a helping advice?

I'm sorry to hear about your cat's health problems.

Take your cat back to the vet. These medications aren't absolute, they often have to be adjusted, especially at first. This means more blood work to check levels and to check other organ function such as kidneys..

Hyperthyroid can often mask kidney disease. Once the thyroid is under control, the kidney disease will show on the blood work (high blood pressure is often a symptom of kidney disease)

Is he eating okay?

You must be very careful to never move any furniture or mix things up in the house. Keep everything just the way he is used to it. If the blindness is permanent, he will adjust in time, but he needs another vet check right now.
