Its a proven fact if you put it in a bowl and dont feed him anything else eventually he WILL eat it. Your cat will not let himself starve to death..But I had a stubborn dog like that except it was only people food she would eat and I finally got her to eat dog food when I stopped giving her anything else she went 3 days without eating but then she finally gave in.. Although I wouldnt recommend leaving tuna in a bowl or any human food for 3 days..But when you put it down for her change it 2 times a day she will eat it when she gets hungry.. Then you will have a heck of a time getting her back to dry food after this food mess is finally over..good luck.

Dry pet food HARDLY EVER has a problem...and if I recall correctly only the canned food has bee recalled. I would recomend you only feed your cat the dry kibble. However, if you still don't want to feed your cat that you could try letting your cat get slightly hungry and see if it'll eat then (There are a lot of cats that don't eat tuna) try feeding it something like ham or maybe even milk. Some vets also carry food enhancer products that you could try

bc it's not wise to feed your cat human food that's why! Baby you just need to take a breath get out of your head and listen to your cat. You can pick a brand that is highly recommended by your vet but human food don't have the vitamins and stuff like that packed in a kibble like dry food. You could hurt your cat's digestive system and over all health and trust in you to provide its needs. I was scared too about the food recall I have 2 kittens myself but I promise you after you check the brand out your cat will be fine.

If he gets hungry enough he will eat it. Until then you can give him a little milk. That will keep his belly nice and full : )

The offending ingredient in the recalled pet food was wheat gluten. The safest way to avoid your cat getting sick is to buy him dry food with no wheat gluten in it.

You shouldn't to feed your cat only human food. He won't get everything he needs if you only feed him human food. Purina One's dry food is safe. They don't use the wheat gluten that is in the recalled food. I have a cat and a dog and I was very worried about the recall. I feed both my cat and my dog Purina One. Go on the menu foods website and it will have a list of all the recalled food. Just stay away from any of those brand names. Here is the site:www.menufoods.com
