Default Kitten Pooping Blood

Ok, so we saved this week old kitten from impending doom (mother and 7 baby kittens having been used as toys and baseballs by the local neighborhood children - I know! Disgusting. - Yes, they killed them.) and brought it home. We're trying our best to keep it comfortable and fed. However, it seems to be pooping blood. I came home today and there was a silver-dollar sized spot of blood - not a pool, but enough to worry. I've been told it's not the first time she's been doing it.

What could be causing something like that? Is she gonna be ok?

You need to get your kitten to a vet immediately. One of cats pooped blood and we found out that the cause was a bacterial infection called Giardia, is this an infection in the gut. Usually caused by the cat drinking contaminated water.

We rescued our cat who had this but unfortunetly were too late, she died because of Giardia, but she had been suffering from it for 6 months with her previous owner before we found out about it.

Is there a mucus in the poo or is the poo runny?
