Default Safe common houseplants

I did a search for Safe Houseplants too! These are suppose to be safe for our furbabies!

African violet (Saintpaulia)
Aluminum plant
Any of the true ferns (Boston fern, maidenhair, etc.)
Cacti (but make sure they are real cacti, not just a succulent)
Catnip
Coleus
Gloxinia (Sinningia)
Goldfish plant (Hypoestes)
Grape ivy (Cissus)
Hanging African Violet (Episcia)
Lipstick vine (Aeschynanthus)
Miniature roses
Pepperomia
Prayer plant (Maranta)
Shrimp plant (Beleperone guttata)
Spider plant (Chlorophytum)
Swedish Ivy (Plectranthus)
Sweet potatoes (Ipomoea)

Thanks for the heads up on what is safe for our fur babies as mine loves to eat plants whether they are fake or real.

I know what you mean. Mine is the same way. I bought a grass plant thats for cats , to eat whenever she wants. And the funny thing is, she never really bothers that one! Only my plants. Go figure lol.

Default Safe Plants

I've found a list of safe and toxic plants, too. But, does anyone know if trumpet bush and purple shamrock are safe? I can't find any info for those two.

My vet asked us to tell him all of the plants in our house and bring in leaves from those that we didn't know the names of. He then told us whether they were safe or not, thankfully they all were.
