bxlent Junior Member Newborn Join Date: Nov 2007 Posts: 1	Siberian Cat had CRF is this now an issue with others? Hi all, I just help my 9 year old Siberian male, Cosmo, cross the rainbow bridge due to 4 years and 8 months of suffering from Chronic Renal Failure. My question is: Are you aware of this being a genetic issue with Siberians. We had his diagnosis confirmed when it occurred by a renal specialist through a biopsy. I would like to have another Siberian to bring life to my home and help with the depression of his brother, also a Kravchenko Siberian. However, I do not want to face this disease at such a young age again. Any advise would be appreciated. - Mark Ps: If you are aware of breeders with a good history that are in or near Ohio that may have kittens, I would appreciate knowing about them. MD
