Default what if my cat was poisoned with this recalled food? how soon will i be able to tell?

i was feeding my cat special kitty in march both the wet and dry and now it is on the recall list. his current food is fine but how do i know if he has been poisoned, what are the symptoms? help!

Hello,I fed my cats recalled wet food as treats and as a precaution I had them tested at the vet. Fortunately they're both fine.Cats don't show signs of kidney failure until they lose 70% of kidney function so if you're really worried it's worth the price of the test for piece of mind. I think mine cost around $50, but you can always call ahead to find out the price. From everything I've read though it does happen pretty quickly like the other posters said, so he's probably fine.
