Will speciality adult cat food cause any harm to a young kitten? I recently got a new kitten to keep my adult cat company, and I'm having problems keeping the two separated at dinner time. My adult cat has to eat Royal Canin Urinary SO because of his kidney problem and absolutely cannot eat any other food, and before I knew it my kitten was eating the urinary tract food as well. This has only happened once, and obviously I try to ensure that she only eats her kitten chow, but does anyone know if consuming this type of food would harm her in any way? I can't call the vet to ask until Monday.
