It's also said that when a family cat died in Egypt, the family members would shave off their eyebrows to show they were mourning.

Cats were also seen as mythic symbols of divinity in ancient Egypt.

I just have a feeling that ancient Egyptians knew a lot more on cats that we do now. Why then would they worshiped them?

Wouldn't it be amazing if people loved and respected kitties (as well as protected them) as much in today's world as they did in these ancient cultures???
