My Mood: | ExquisiCat; Pine Cat Litter ExquisiCat Pine Cat Litter is a dust-free, odor-controlling cat litter that's made from recycled pine and is 100% natural and biodegradable. This environmentally-friendly litter is a great alternative to clay litters and safe to use around pets and children. Pelleted litter is made from compressed natural pine wood--no new trees were cut to make ExquisiCat Pine Cat Litter. Litter is a feline favorite and has no odor, no dust and no tracking. The highly-absorbing pellets expand when wet and can be scooped or flushed! Unlike other cat litters, there are no chemical additives needed to control odor as pine naturally bonds with ammonia, and there is never any sticky, smelly mess to deal with when the box needs to be changed. The light, natural pine scent controls odors without artificial additives.Recommended by veterinarians for kittens and for post-surgical use. Manufacturer provides a 100% product satisfaction guarantee. More... |

My Mood: | pine litter rocks!
I haven't seen this brand before, but I can vouch for pine litter in general.
I've been using pine cat litter (either Feline Pine or the Publix generic brand) in my cats' litterbox for over a year now. I have two cats and the litter box sits in the hallway of my motorhome -- a very tight space indeed!
Visitors have come and gone and always ask where I keep the litter box. They never smell it, though it is right out in the open! It's an amazing product, it's from a sustainable source, there is little or no controversy (like there are with many corn-related products these days), and it's biodegradable -- even going so far as being a decent addition to garden mulch! (Don't use it exclusively as mulch, but it can be mixed in if composted correctly. Composting it with other organic materials helps break down and dilute the ingredients that would otherwise be harmful to plants in higher concentrations.)
I travel the US in my motorhome, being as eco-friendly as I can (running on used veggie oil, using solar panels, recycling, etc.), and this pine litter really fits the bill. I've tried traditional clay litters, newspaper litters, and corn husk litters, but for me the pine litter blows them all away.
It might not be for everyone, but I like it.

Where can this litter be purchased. I live in Ontario Canada. I could use some of this as we have 3 cats and 2 litter boxes.

I've tried all the different Pine litters for my cats and all of them seem to agree they'd reather chew it then "use it" I tried several different brands and all of them had the same result. It got bad enough one of my cats decided I should be punished for daring to give her pine, and my shoe was a little damp the next day. |
