This is the best cat litter I have ever found. It's consistancy is smaller and more like sand than other pine products out there - like Feline Pine. Not pelletts. Controls oder really well - in fact supeior to any clay, newspaper or wheat brands on the market. You can scoop and flush waste in the toilet. Our cat hated the Feline Pine pellets but is very happy with this.
Customer Review: The best cat litter I have used
I have used clumping and clay with crystals litter. When I tried using a pine based pellet litter, I loved the way the cat box smelled like pine, not like urine or amonia like. The problem was my cats did not like the pellets...so I when I came across Healthy Pet's Cracked Pine litter, I was thrilled as I knew my cats would take to it quickly, which they did. My litter box doesn't reek by day 4 with 2 cats sharing the box. No more urine smells, or amonia smells..just a nice scent of pine...Every once in awhile, I need to use a bit of arm and hammer refreshner, but not everyday like I did with the clay litter. I would highly recommend the Cracked Pine litter. It costs slightly more, but it is so worth it...plus my cats love it.
