This flea control for cats worked well when I first put it on, but it smelled like I was putting gasoline on their backs. And it definitely didn't work for a whole month like it was supposed to. After a week or two, they had more fleas, either from the eggs that were supposed to be killed by this stuff, or by more fleas jumping on them. It didn't kill fleas the way it should. The stuff I get from the vet works much better. Go to a vet and ask for Advantage. My vet sells it in individual doses and it seems to work better. It kills anything that bites the animal. So, any new eggs that hatch will also be taken care of.
