Unhappy Unanswered: Serious, Help me Guys, My Cat is sick, sneezes alot & tired

Hey, I have a serious problem, My Cat is 5-6 Months old, In these previous days he seem to be very tired, he stays away from us in corners and under the chairs, his eyes closes he can't open them, he looks so tired as I said pals, he sneezes alot, sneezes 5 times in a row at a time, he don't eat enuf as before and he vomited alot too in these days ...

I don't know what happened to him, I suspected 2 incidents that 1 of them might be the reason or both, the first incident, my cat ran away from me in the hall and entered my room, the air conditioner was working and he moved and stayed in front of the direction of the cold air coming out from the ac, the floor was so cold because I was cleaning my room and removed the carpets.

The 2nd incident is that I took him from 4-5 days to his doctor and he injected him, the doctor said that he should not be injected If he sneezes alot, and at that time he was good, the same day I took him to visit the doctor he sneezed alot, and he was injected later that night ... so this maybe the reason too.

anyways, I don't really care what is the reason, but what I really care about is my cat and what's happening to him, and what disease is that, and how to heal him as soon as possible.

Help me, I really need your help,
Thx in advance,

I didn't use any cleaning products that day, I had my kitty when he was only 55 days in age, the family was so frightened about him so they decided to take him to the Vet to give him the vaccine injection he need, he was already late, he should have been injected earlier before, so the family felt afraid about that delay and went.
so they decided to let the Vet gave him the shot, but don't u know how can I heal him, the Vet wrote some medicine .. I will go buy them all but I hope someone tell me what's happening to him ...

I'm so worried would u plz tell me what to do, did u see some similar situations .. ?

Hi--Kitties do get kitty colds, but if he is throwing up that could be serious. Please bring him to the vet asap. Time is of the essense, and let us know what happens.

Mr Mando, sounds like your cat might have a simple cold. You can go to the store and purchase Tylenol for kids and give it to your cat. It will foam in and around the mouth area becauase it's sweet, don't worry about that. Also sounds like your cat might have a fever which the tylenol will also help with that. Give one tube full drop of tube to your cat. You will have to be patience with this if you want your cat to get better.

Let me know if you took your cat to the Vet yet, if not just follow thins for a few days and see what happens. If it continues, than I would suggest a Vet at that point. The vomitting is due the the cold and maybe fever that your cats may have, just make sure you cat is drinking lots of water, and if you can buy the pedialite that we give to kids when they don't want to eat, that will keep your cat hidrated.

I have been there.

Hi Bekah--I wanted to send you a private message but I don't know how. Anyway, I saw "Fredericksburg, VA"; my brother and his family live in Haymarket, VA. It's in Prince William Coun ty--is that close to Fredericksburgh?

Haymarket to Fredericksburg is about an hour, and Fredericksburg to Woodbridge is only 20 minutes. It all depends on where they live, and it sounds like they live just at the boarder line of Prince William county. Haymarket to Woodbridge, VA is a 40 minutes drive.

To send a private message, just click on my name Bekah and it will pop up with a menu. In the menu it has the private message link. You can do the same for anyone else also.

hey AuntKitty, I went to the vet, and he wrote some antibiotics and some medicine for vomitting and running nose and medicine in general for what I stated before as problems, My Kitten stopped sneezing, stopped vomitting but He don't eat by himself, I must feed him by myself using a syring and he don't sleep and he appears to be still tired and sad, he always meows and I don't know why, he don't want food.. so I don't know why he meows ... I'm afraid he's feeling pain or something ...

hey Bekah, thx for the tylenol, he is now good, he stopped sneezing, but the problem is that he don't sleep, don't eat by himself and feels tired and sad and meows for unknown reasons .. I don't know why .. I'm so afraid, he might feel some pain or something ...

I forgot to say He is now so thin and his hair colour is darker than before and he can't stand on his feet and hands (he always sits on the floor like a sphinx or on his sides) I don't know why he stopped running, jumping and playing

Mr Mando, The Vet should have proscribe kitty special diet food to help you cat get fat. Which Vet did you take him too? The Bandfield Pet Hospital sells those food that you really need for you cat. It will help you cat tremendously plus he would probably eat it because it's absolutly delicious for them. I know exactly what you are going through. I went through the same with my cat, only he was diagonise with Feline Lukemia, thank God he doesn't have it any longer.

But when my cat didn't want to eat, my Vet, whom was excelent proscribe that special food that help my cat gain weight, and it was just a matter of days before he was eating on his own. However you will need to continue feeding you cat with the syrenge, he needs to eat in order to feel better especially with those medications.

I wish I could call you and talk to you, becuase I would be of help to you and can help you with your cat. But try and call your vet and ask him/her about a priscription cat food to help your cat gain the weight and to help your cat want to eat. If your Vet says you don't need it, instist on that priscription for only a few months until your cat is back to a healthy weight. Let me know what the Vet tells you.
