For adult cats, the unbalanced portion of their diet (the cooked chicken) should be no more than 15% of daily intake. For kittens I would not feed any more than 5%, if anything at all. They are growing and need a balanced diet.

Feed a good quality canned food, avoiding grains, fruits and vegetables, and the kittens should thrive.

If you want to feed them a home made raw or cooked diet, it's defintily worth looking into but it has to be done right.

How old are the kittens? 1/2 of a 3 oz can three times a day is not enough food for a kitten. they need up to 12 ounces of canned food a day (depending on the kitten, some need less, but usually not less than 9 ounces)
