STRATHAM -- The New Hampshire SPCA Field Services Division and members of its volunteer Disaster Response Team removed five horses and three cats from a property in Rye last Sunday.

I would like to know why the owner was even allowed to have animals AFTER the first offense. People who neglect their animals don't change. Animals look up to us to take care of them. Even if you do love them, if you can't afford them, then don't acquire any. I hope this person gets a hefty fine and jail time.

So so sad. Hope he gets jail time and only gets a few pieces of bread and a few sips of water a day. Let him see what it feels like to be hungry. Poor babies. Just breaks my heart whenever I hear of abuse cases.
