Site hacking?

What’s all this I keep hearing about the site being hacked?

Okay so which moderator has pissed off a past member that’s been banned then?

Or maybe its dog owners that hate cats and hate this site have there been any other cat forum sites that have been hacked attacked lately?

I don't visit the site often now I and my cat are doing well, its now the second time I've got a notification email mentioning that the site has recovered from being hacked.

I agree, probably an anti-cat virulent dog person
who did it or paid someone off to do it.

I can't think of a better reason right now tho,
not been feeling good.

Catsmanlover 04-08-2012 01:40 PM

Well I wonder how many members here including admin and mods that might be paranoid now?

sigh, bothers me even if I don’t visit the site as much now, I only wish my cat could use the computer I’d then get him his own pc to make his, own posts LOL. I got do it all for him.:D

I like the idea of paying someone off to do it now that does make sense. There are some forum sites that talk about bragging about hacking sites.:x

Why are the hackers/spammers targeting this site? Must be because it is popular. We have the same problem at a site which I use frequently (Gambling.co.uk/forums). The main problem over there is SPAMMERS overloading the site causing it to crash. Nothing worse.

Gambling doesn't interest me not if you laid £10billion in front of me, its paper with value on it that allows me, to buy something honestly without need to shoplifting. :D

Besides I gamble every time I order Domino's Pizza at £17.00.:D

Spammers/hackers do choice popular sites hoping one out of a few thousand members might be a dimwit.

Only thing good enough for hacker/spammer is soldering iron being jabbed into their hands so they can't type for a few months.

Please don't make me laugh... This site is not popular, there are too many restrictions, not to mention the advertisements scrolling all over the place, to keep more than the die-hard members and those with AdBlock. I'm the only moderator here (an even bigger note on this site's "popularity") and I have only banned two people who weren't spammers, and the thought of those two people having the ability to hack the site, or for that matter paying someone else off to do so.. That thought is just so hilarious.

Shuranda, Panther Pride. Those of you who know, will probably fall off your chairs laughing too.

Catsmanlover 04-08-2012 09:01 PM

umm, :D yes I've kinder noticed all the advertisements all over the place before logging in.

Tiggerpaws 04-09-2012 01:36 AM

I only watch the kittypuss ads, the rest
I ignore.

Here is a foto I just took of my
bro's new kittenpuss Cleo.
