Red face Tis the time for a formal intro!

I have been a member-maybe a month? My name is Lexi. I live in PA. I am the Mama of 2 lovable naughty DSH males. They are best described as Frick and Frack. They are double trouble and love being a pain in each other's butt's-LOL! Watching their antics can be either entertaining or tiring. Depending on how much I have to Ref..... I work in Pedatric nursing. I simply LOVE all animals. I guess I love them so much, I am considered a little ecentric. I will wave to dogs in passing cars and say hello-LOL. Other than that I have the sweetest and most amazing husband ever!Well, that is my "formal intro"....It is a pleasure to meet you all!

Well then, a formal welcome. It seems alot of people who post at this forum are just lovers of animals in general, as well as cats. I just seem to care about those who can't defend themselves against an at-times barbaric world, animals and kids. There needs to be more of us.

That is for sure. Working in nursing I see some sad tales. It is very hard because we have to remain non-judgemental. We can only hope we can save asmany children as possible from simply barbaric parents!

A-Rod's Mama, I don't think I could handle that kind of job. Years ago I worked at a pharmacy that contracted to deliver drugs to convalescent homes, one home for young adults with MS and such, and a mental institution. Just seeing all that made me very upset at times, especially those teens who had sharp, clear minds but with bodies they couldn't control. I'm glad you do it, though. I'll stick with sick and lame kitties.
