Hi everyone, my name is jenny. i have three amazing cats. 2 of them are 14 years old (sisters) and they are my absolute babies. my other cat is a little over a year old and he is such a cuddler (but a little too wild for the older ones haha). anyways...something has really been bothering me for a long time. everytime i go to into petsmart on a sunday they have cat adoptions. it BREAKS MY HEART when i see all the cats in SMALL glass boxes. i cant help but cry in the store. i dont even care that i look like a basket case haha. but what absouletly kills me is when i see that all the kittens are adopted, dont get me wrong im glad they found homes, but NONE of the older cats found homes. Some of those "cute baby kittens" who were adopted impulsivly (SOME not all) will end up in the same situation as these older cats when their "cuteness" starts getting old, and the adopter's furniture ends up as a scratching post. these older cats have the potential to be the PERFECT pet too. i wish people would see that. if i could, i would take in every single homeless cat. if your considering a cat, please ADOPT. and if your a breeder...please make sure you sell to someone who wants a LIFELONG compainion. sorry this rant is so long. im just really passionate about this. there are so many homeless animals that just want to be loved. and it breaks my heart that they cant ASK for help or tell you when they hurt. anyways i can go on forever.....so hi everyone! in new
