My cat is a beautiful long-hired black and white male. We got him when he was
10 months old. He is ~ 15 yo and will only use his litter box to pee. This started recently and we switched to pine litter to see if it would help. He has gotten very picky and will only pee in his litter. It is always accessible and is cleaned daily.
How long has it been? I gather he's peeing but not pooping, right? You might want to take him to the vet. Certain common cat health problems have litter box issues as the initial symptom.
