hi, there everyone, i am a newbie, due to the fact that i've been searching forever for a website like this and haven't quite found the right one until now......so, hello, and how are you all doing?
my beautiful two felines, absinthe, (hence the nickname, but i call him abby-sinthe most of the time), and my beautiful little girl cat, angel. they are apple-faced cats (i have yet to find out what that means...), twins, tho they are complete oppisites, abby is a shorthair, and is black and white, angel is a longhair with just a slight patch of white on her belly. they are both EXTREMELY spoiled, yet extremely independant, especially as cats go, but they are both sweethearts, and are very loyal companions indeed. they are almost a year old, my aunt who is the director of the humane society in her town, rescued them from their home where they were severely abused (and still BABIES!). unfortunately because of that, absinthe got brain damage, so he's slightly retarded. which is ok, because that just makes him more special to me
. angel didnt come out with anything (yet), thank god, but they are both very skittish around strangers (can you blame them), but when they get to know you, they will be total sweethearts.
as for me, i am a college student mastering in art/writing and psychology, have lived with cats all my life, and would definenly say i am a loyal and dedicated cat person.
on this site, i hope to meet others like me, who share my love of cats, it would be nice to learn anything new, and just have fun.
soooo....that is my story. sorry for writing you a novel.
