Default Any advice?

Friday my friends and I trapped a cat in the inner city. I brought home the have a heart trap put it in my garage and opened it. Cat (gray w/tortie markings) walked out, looked up at me (rather indignant) and walked behind some storage tubs. I set out water, and wet and dry food and a litter pan (which she has actually been using).

My plan - Get her calmed or friendly and take her to my vet for medical workup then get her adopted. The last time I did this I grew attached to the cat and she became my 6th cat.

Question - I have her separated in the garage (two floors below out condo) she has her own litter supplies and nothing that goes into the garage comes out again (food plates, etc). I decontaminate myself using antiseptic wipes on hands, arms, feet and lower legs. Am I doing enough to prevent contamination to my other cats?

SHould be enough but it would be better to contact some local vet too.
