i have a "feral" mother cat we call her momma who ive been trying to tame for a few months now the progress is slow but shes starting to trust me i still cant touch her but she lets me get extreamly close she finaly brought her 3 kittens up to start eating hard food today its auctualy the first time ive seen them do you know any ways to get them to trust me their only a month or so old so im hoping it will be easer to tame them

It sounds as if you are doing well. The fact the mother cat has stayed she must trust you to a certain degree. I would carry on as you are doing. Keeping at a reasonable distance so they are not threatend by your presence. Maybe stay a long while talking gently but don't aprouch them. Do this as often as possible, they will be soon get used to you. As the kittens grow older they may become confident and cheeky enough to aprouch you.
As they get older they play more, You may be able to entice them to play with a fishing rod style toy. They can keep a comfortable distance from you whilst enjoying your company. I think patience is the key.
You probably know all of this already.
It would be great if they befriend you. And handy if any need medical treatment. It would be great for them if you can put some kitten safe flea treatment on their scruffs (you can get flea treatment that kills all parasites inc worms) I would not attempt this for a while.

it is going pretty good i sit outside with them any chance i get i do talk to them in a gentle voice they seem to like it they act like they want to come to me their just still very causious i would like them to trust me caus i want to make them inside cats they will be safer that way i dont know if their mother will ever trust me enough to let me touch her she also has a kitten from a previous litter that just had her first litter i would like to get them spayed but i have to get my hands on them first so im a little lost om momma and baby (the two oldest cats names not very original but they answer to them) i would like to do the best thing for them which i think would be having them spayed plus i cant afford for them to keep breeding cause if they do ill have my own cat colony but i just dont know what to do about momma and baby i know the kittens will come around but ive been trying to get momma and baby to since before christmas and im starting to think they never will i sure hope im wrong

i bought a fishing rod style toy today one with fethers on the end i havent tried it with the kittens yet i hope they like it

i dont beleave they are auctually feral just scared strays i live in a small town with na humain sociaty or even anything like it we have an animal rescue league that i volenter with the cats answer to the names i have given them and the kittens are 8-10 weeks old now so the're weened they will get withen 5 feet of me so their coming around quickly and i am planing to get a havahart trap to catch atleast the the to oldest cats and have them spayed i will have the female kittens fixed when they are old enough even if the adult cats never come to me i wont give up om them and have them euthanized i will have them spayed and they can live out their lives here i may have never been able to touch them but i still love them and i wont give up on them but i will do what best for them which is having them spayed/neutered but think you for the advice but i just dont have that option in my area because other than the few animal lovers in my area everyone elses solution is to shoot them
