Question ? on new kitten and adult cat

Our kitten is about 4 weeks old and our Male adult Harry is about 1. Harry has taken to the new baby like she was his own. He licks her from head to toe and is so gentle with her, and plays very soft with her as to not hurt her.

My question is the baby is so lonely in the bathroom in a box by herself, do you think if I kitten proof my bathroom and took away the box and left Harry in there with her to keep her company and to learn cat skills.....do you think this a good idea? I have watch them together for the last couple of days and I don't think he would hurt her. Just at night time, so they can cuddle together....I don't know what to do.

Advice and experiences welcome.

Deanna
