MDMK Secretary Vaiko arrested

Tamil Nadu Police have apprehended Vaiko, the Secretary of the MDMK Party and LTTE loyalist Vaiko and many members of pro-LTTE parties in South India staged a demonstration accusing the Indian Central and Tamil Nadu governments of not mediating in ending the humanitarian operations mooted by the Sri Lankan government. Tamil Nadu police nabbed Vaiko and scores of his supporters.
